The annual tradition of dying eggs.. Does anyone actually enjoy this? I usually plan to be cooking or cleaning at the time of egg dying. Now don't get me wrong, I also don't enjoy cooking or cleaning.. But it gets me out of dying eggs everytime. Does that make me a bad Mom? No!! If you think it does your just jealous you didn't think of it!!
This year we scaled back and dyed only 18.. Of course I wasn't fully prepared! I didn't have any vinegar to mix w the egg dye, Which the package recommends for more vibrant eggs. Lets face it.. No one wants not vibrant eggs.. If we did we could just leave them white or brown like you get them in the store. So I did have some APPLE CIDER VINEGAR.. So it says vinegar on the label. It should work.. Well it didn't hurt anything, but our eggs were less then vibrant.. We ended up going through most of he food coloring I could scrounge up, and mixing that with it.. And by the time we got everything ready and prepped, everyone just wanted to watch basketball anyways!!
